This is an interview with Alex Buzoveria, owner of Appliance Technician Ltd.

Where were you at 22, and how did you get to where you are today?

I was in EU, Lithuania. At this age I came to Canada and after a few years started this business.

Thanks for sharing! When did you really decide to "take ownership" of your career? What inspired you to pursue your passion?

Always responsible about my career and businesses I'm doing. I worked for a short time in another appliance repair company and have noticed their mistakes. I decided to improve customers service and bring changes to our community.

All good career stories include some aspect of "risk." Was there a moment in your career where you felt that you were risking something, but looking back on it now, that move made all the difference?

All those challenging tasks from the past that helped me to build this business, don't look that scary anymore. I guess that is experience. I'm still taking risky decisions if I can feel perspectives in that.

Where do you find significance in your work? What gives you the most satisfaction?

I feel delight when resolving my clients problems with their appliances. I feel happy by helping others.

How do you measure success in your role? How do you know you're succeeding?

Business expanding with word of mouth. Profit. Reviews. More employees.

If you could offer your 22-year old self one piece of advice, what would you say?

"Just Do It"
